Precisely controllable wavelengths
The qmd® helios, our top-of-the-range model, offers three precisely controllable wavelengths (808, 1064 and 1120 nm) with an output of 24 W. These allow you to choose between different delivery modalities: continuous, pulsed, super-pulsed and the exclusive qmd® harmonic pulsation. This flexibility allows you to optimise the therapy to the needs of your patients.
A particular advantage is the 1120 nm wavelength, which acts specifically on neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine as well as on substance P in the muscles to specifically alleviate pain and relieve muscle tension.

Through innovative triple effect
A special highlight of the system is the triple effect, which is made possible by the simultaneous use of the three wavelengths. While one wavelength emits pain-relieving stimuli in super-pulsed mode, a second provides targeted impulses to specific molecules or mediators. At the same time, the third wavelength works with frequency modulation to stimulate molecules that are less strongly involved. This comprehensive treatment method maximizes the effectiveness and efficiency of pain therapy.
